I got a chance to connect with some of the folks over at King Pen Vapes. They sent me a vape pen to try out, and I’ve really enjoyed it. After taking some time to use the pen I scheduled an interview with the Founder of King Pen Vapes, Alex. It was super interesting to get some behind the scene info about starting a vape company. Mary Jane’s Diary (MJD): Can you tell me a little about how King Pen Vapes was started?
King Pen Vapes (KPV): King Pen Vapes was started when a random woman in traffic pointed to her vaporizer and told my friend and I to get one instead of blowing a joint in the freeway. Not knowing much, I headed straight over to buy one. Got one and loved it.
MJD: What inspired you?
KPV: I eventually burnt out my coil and needed a new one. I tried to buy one and realize how expensive it was. So I thought I can do what many are doing for much cheaper to bring a better economical alternative to vapers.
MJD: How do you decide which products to carry in your store?
KPV: It’s a little bit of what our customers will need, can upgrade with, and makes economic sense.
MJD: What are some reasons that people should switch to vaping?
KPV: Vaping is much healthier than smoking. When you vape you are only heating it up enough to create the active ingredients into vapor. Once it is created into smoke, that is when you start getting toxic carcinogens into your throat and lungs. It is also much more discreet.
MJD: Which do you prefer – indica or sativa?
KPV: Haha. My rule of thumb is, if the sun is still up then use sativa. When it sets, use indica!
Ago G5 3 in 1 Review
The Ago G3 3 in 1 can be used for dry herb, concentrate, and e juice. They also sent me an additional dome coil. Overall, I was really pleased with it’s performance. The best part is it costs less than $40. Below are a list of pros and cons I’ve compiled after using this pen for quite some time.
Pros
- The battery life is great. I’ve had no problem using it all day without having to charge.
- Being able to use this for dry herb, concentrate, and e juice is really nice.
- I like the sleek design. It makes it super discrete.
Cons
- You can’t adjust the temperature. This wasn’t a problem with the e juice or concentrates. The dry herb, however, got a little too hot and caused some combustion.
- You have to unscrew the coil to charge so you cant use it while it’s charging.
Overall, I am really pleased with this vape pen. It was really cool chatting with the folks over at King Pen Vapes. So, if you’re interested in getting a vaporizer then I highly recommend checkout out kingpenvapes.com.
You are one of the lucky ones. I ordered a vape pen and what I received would not turn on. I contacted them and over the course of several weeks and at least 6 “master reset” bull they gave me they did NOT back up their product by replacing. Instead I sent it back for a refund. Upon their receipt of MY pen, he said it was used and I only had a few days to return it after I bought it. I couldn’t use it because it wouldn’t turn on!! So I got jacked for my $50 Don’t recommend businesses like this. People work hard for their money.
Yeah nah I ordered from the site over two weeks ago and the only thing I’ve heard from them is my order confirmation the day I ordered. I’ve sent them multiple emails asking for at least a tracking number, tried calling both phone numbers multiple times, and even gone as far as messaging their Facebook and posting on their twitter. So yeah nah not too happy.
