5 Best Ways To Consume CBD

This article was made possible thanks to my friends over at DankGeekCBD.com.

CBD has taken the market by storm. As CBD products begin to flood the market it can be difficult for you to decide which products you want to try out for yourself. In this article I’m going to discuss 5 different methods of consuming CBD along with some of the pros and cons of each method.

1. Tincture

Tincture made its way to the top of the list partly because its such an easy way for people to consume CBD. Put simply, tincture is CBD infused into an oil.

CBD tincture comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. You simply fill up the dropper and put the liquid under your tongue. There’s nothing more to it. This type of delivery is called sublingually.

You can get tinctures in a variety of sizes, strengths, and flavors so you’re sure to find the bottle of tincture that fits you perfectly.

2. Vape Juice

If you’re already vaping then you should definitely try using a juice with CBD. Vape juices come in a wide variety of flavors.

You have several options when buying CBD vape juice. You can get it in a bottle, cartridge, or ecig. Get the bottle if you already have a vape that you want to refill. The cartridges can be handy. Simply screw the cartridge onto a battery and you’re good to go. Finally, you have the ecig style. This is the most convenient method. You don’t need to have a battery or worry about charging the device. Just open the package and puff away.

Vaping has the quickest onset of any of the consumption methods discussed. For many, the effects are almost immediate. On the other hand, the effects are more short lived than other methods.

If you aren’t already vaping then I suggest going with a tincture or one of the methods outlined below.

3. Edibles

CBD edibles are a very popular method for consuming CBD. One of the most popular edible items are gummies. They are a tasty way to consume measured doses of CBD.

If you aren’t into sweets then its no problem because there are plenty of other edible CBD option. You may want to try popcorn, coconut oil, drink powders, or capsules.

Also, it is possible for you to make your own edible products by adding CBD oil to your favorite dishes. I do recommend avoiding high heat situations as it may degrade the CBD and affect the flavor of the food.

4. Topicals

Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, CBD can help ease some of those everyday aches and pains. If you’re looking to target a specific joint or muscle area then CBD topicals may be just the thing for you. Topicals are products that are applied directly to your skin. This includes creams, balms, and sprays.

5. Bath Bombs

I bet you didn’t expect to see this one on the list. CBD bath bombs are a great way to sit back and relax after a long day. Available in various CBD strengths and aromas and made with all the ingredients you’ve come to expect from bath bombs, CBD-infused bath bombs provide that extra layer of comfort by allowing you to experience the benefits of CBD all over your body.

Bonus – CBD For Pets

Since I already shared 5 methods for human consumption, I thought I might take a moment to discuss a few ways you can offer CBD to your pet.

Treats are a great way to give your pet CBD. Like regular pet treats, CBD-infused pet treats come in a variety of options. They are available for both cats and dogs.

You can also find CBD for your pets in an oral spray. This is a good method for pets who are picky eaters or on a diet. Just spray some on their food during meal time and your good to go.

  • Hello! Very useful article. I’ve used cannabis tinctures and oils before, but didn’t know you could make bath bombs 🙂 My mom uses tinctures and oils to reduce back and leg pain after a hard day at work, and friends to fall asleep faster and less be nervous. I think this is a good alternative to sedatives. But before using such products, consult your doctor. Also, there are many stores on the Internet with quality products for a good price.
